Best Android Apps : Best Apps of May 2021

Welcome back boys may 2021 is finally here so as usual I'll be showing off the best android apps I have stunning wallpapers to show off six fantastic apps that are very useful and for addicting games let's get into it the wallpapers for this month come from a newly released wallpaper app called mystique walls many of them are vectors that fit in perfectly with whatever icons or widgets you have on your home Screen they have a variety of categories to choose from including landscapes gradients liquid and more my personal favorites though are the landscapes because they perfectly separate the dock from my widgets plus even though they're very minimal something about their color choices and shapes provide a very appealing look unlocking my phone and looking at any of these backgrounds is honestly very Mesmerizing the app does cost a dollar and fifty nine cents but I reached out to the developer and thanks to him I'll be giving away 30 promo codes all you need to do is follow me on twitter and instagram at how to men and I'll be dropping them in a few days over there either way I definitely recommend checking out this wallpaper app you won't be able to find these backgrounds anywhere else and the developer adds new ones every week whenever you receive Receipts bills or any important documents it's a smart idea to scan them and back them up on the cloud that way if you ever lose them you'll still have a virtual copy stack a newly released app by google lets you easily do that and it backs your documents to google drive the best part is that it will automatically find important details within your scanned documents such as the company name the total amount spent the date etc it makes it easy to search for specific keywords to quickly find specific receipts in the future I use this to back up my driver's license and my vaccination card simple and straightforward ad away is probably the most popular ad blocker on android but most people don't use it because it requires roots well at least that's what most people still think I even thought that was still the case for the longest time until recently when I found out that they now give you the option to use a VPN to block ads and trackers in other words you no longer need root to use Attaway the best part about this app is that it's completely free to use the interface is straightforward with no unnecessary features and it works like a charm blocking almost every ad within most of my apps and websites that I visit the only thing I wish it had is a whitelist feature to allow certain apps or websites to run with ads other than that it's a must I receive unimportant notifications all the freaking time whether it be from games personalization apps facebook etc and I can't turn them off because I don't want to miss out on an important notification that they could send in the Future so I turned to spread notification manager to better manage my Notifications the way it works is it instantly shows me all of my important notifications such as my messages emails social media Etc while the rest are hidden away and safely stored in spread to view them later on in the day in batches it will even show me all my notifications that I dismissed within spread you can choose which apps you'd like to mute and you can set reminders to check up on those muted notifications it's completely free and saves you from checking your phone hundreds of times a Day this next best app blinkist is a sponsor but it comes in handy for anyone who wants to read a book but just doesn't have the time to do it I personally find it hard to read certain books because they can be repetitive dull or have unnecessary chapters with blinkist it condenses down the reading of over 3 000 non-fictional Books and lets me easily read and listen to all of a book's highlights and learn the main points of it in around 15 minutes it saves time money and lets me learn new things faster than ever I personally use it when I have to do long drives or while I'm doing tours around the house and I love that even before I begin to read or listen to a book blinkist lets me know in a short description what the book is about who's it for and the key ideas so my favorite books on here are hatching twitter this one tells the story of the four men who created twitter and how they went about doing a Startup that eventually turned into a billy dark company it's an excellent read for anyone who is an entrepreneur or wants to become one casey neistat even recommended it I also love the book called die with zero it brings a different perspective to spending money and explains how everyone can squeeze out more enjoyment from their money and finally for all of my techies out there insanely simple is a great book that explains how steve jobs implemented a structure that made apple successful so I highly recommend you check out blinkist because you'll honestly learn so much in a tiny amount of time the first 100 people to use my link in the description to download the app will get a 7 day free trial which you can cancel at any time during that period and you'll also get 25 off if you choose to get the full membership afterward so don't wait because before you know it the deal could be gone have you ever found yourself struggling to remember when was the last time you did something or when something occurred such as the last time you changed your toothbrush or Watered plants or even dusted your computer well with time jot you can keep a timeline of when you did random things so that you never forget you just create an event for example a haircut and then create a category such As self-care then within that event you can add an entry every time you get a haircut you can even see how your entries change over time on a chart the best part is that time jog can remind you of your events on a set schedule or a single time in the future everything about this app is unique and creative it has no ads and it's completely free to download ever want to mirror your phone's notifications and messages to your Computer well chrono lets you do this and more once you download the chrome firefox windows or mac OS app then sign up using facebook google or any email account and then connect your smartphone just by scanning the AR code you'll be able to see your phone's notifications and interact with them such as replying to Messages dismissing notifications deleting things and a lot more you'll also be able to send and receive files between your computer and Smartphone you just can't send files that are over 25 megabytes in size if you have the free version you can also share your clipboard between devices which is a perfect way to share long URLs and when you get the premium version you'll be able to see all of your SMS Conversations and respond to them the app is very amazing at what it does and has a beautiful looking UI the only feature I wish it had is the option to share files between my other phones or friends who also have the app a great alternative that does do this is push bullet but the premium version to set large files and send more than 100 text messages does cost a lot more than chrono many apps nowadays have trackers whether it be for personalized advertisements analytics or maybe even sharing to facebook there are even some apps that log your user activity and you may not even know it that's why I downloaded warden to once and for all know which of my apps have trackers or keep locks on my activity the app will give you a generalized summary of how your apps are treating you but you can jump further into the rabbit hole when selecting individual apps and looking at what types of trackers and loggers it's using it's low-key kind of scary how some apps use so many trackers and even lock data when it's clearly not even required like some casual games or even some wallpaper apps if you have root warden will even let you disable any trackers within the app and they even have a feature called nuket which can automatically turn off all tracker components Just a heads up though not all trackers are evil but some are most likely unnecessary such as the facebook ones switching to the games by face is up first it's a 2d platform jumping game with a twist every time your character jumps the background changes colors between red or black revealing hidden blocks or platforms to land on this makes the gameplay so much harder because it tricks your brain into thinking that you'll safely land on a platform that's next to you but it instantly disappears when you hop Over and if you land on anything you'll fall to your death and lose you need to make your best guesses as to where each platform will pop up when you Jump and each level is a puzzle so you need to figure out the right path to take and what buttons to press to make it to the next level it's a great concept and it will give you a bit of a challenge the only thing I thought was very annoying were the controls they're just a bit too small but eventually you get the hang of it either way you get the best feeling ever whenever you finish a stage another puzzle game that isn't as frustrating to play is rusty lake roots it does cost 3.49 but for quality Gameplay and no advertisements I think it's well worth a few bucks it's been created by the same developers that created the famous series cube Escape so if you ever played those games you'll find this one to be very similar and easy to pick up for anyone new to the series though you're thrown into random scenes where you need to figure Out how to move on to the next room so you need to find random hidden objects such as keys diamonds tools etc then you can use those objects to unlock or interact with other things within that level the game also has a storyline so you're not just doing all this for nothing and as you proceed further into the levels the environment and story get creepier so if you'd like to get chills check out rusty lake roots a way to smash is another puzzle game that brings more action to the mix your objective is to smash all the opponents on the screen but you need to do it any specific order otherwise the enemies can destroy you first every time you destroy an opponent they break into a million pieces making a satisfying glass noise it's a turn-based game so when you attack each enemy the other bad guys will get closer to you and if they get too close it's game Over I found that the easiest way to beat each level is to always attack the enemy that is furthest away from the crowd it requires some thought but it's enjoyable and the animations are Spectacular stepping away from puzzle games ice racing.io is a quick paced racing game where you need to beat other colorful cubes to the finish line you can even make yourself bigger by jumping on other players but if an opponent lands on you they'll get bigger and you'll get smaller it's a straightforward game that's very easy to get the hang of it may seem like it's a multiplayer game since the usernames of other opponents are random but it's not it's still a great way to kill time though and each time you beat the level you get a higher rank making the other players a lot tougher the only thing I don't like about ice racing io is that it plays an ad almost every time you die and to get rid of those ads you need to pay 2.59 so just keep that in mind either way that's the best introduction of may 2021 hope you guys enjoyed my list if you did I would appreciate it if you can drop a quick thumbs up on this video it really helps out the channel and especially with the youtube algorithm and if you enjoyed what you saw I highly recommend getting subscribed with the
